Leveling issues

The other day I went to level the coach, I raised it all the way up as my coach seems to level better when I do that, It leveled out just fine then all of a sudden I lost air on the left side. releveled it and all was fine, Yesterday I had to start it up and run up the road a few miles to fill up with diesel. I started it up and let it warm up and air up but could not get the left side to air up, The right side aired up fine and I had air in the left side bags but not enough to pick it up to travel height. I can hear air in back manifold, The question I have for all you experts, would it be my left lower solenoid? or could the left raise solenoid be stuck open? I have a few new solenoids but dont want to just start throwing parts at it, I have the coach sitting on my frame blocks now, I did get it to air up after some time enough to get the safety pipes in on the frame. Thanks

Adam - You might a a couple of possible issues here.  Either the solenoid is not seating properly and allowing air "blow by" or the "o" rings might be leaking.  If you have a replacement solenoid you could replace that solenoid and see what the results are.  You also might take some leak detection solution and check for leaks around the base of the solenoids where the solenoid kisses the aluminum manifold block.  FWIW

Adam,

Would you clarify a couple of statements.
1.  I can hear air in back manifold        Which manifold?  you have 2,  1 for the drive axle & 1 for the tag

2.  I lost air on the left side                  Was this on all the left side (front, drive, & tag)?  or just 1 corner?

3.  I had air in the left side bags but not enough to pick it up to travel height    Did you manually add this air or was it from when you raised the coach and re leveled the coach the night before?

4.  would it be my left lower solenoid? or could the left raise solenoid be stuck open?      You have 3 lower, 3 raise, & 3 travel solenoids on each side.  So if the whole left side isn't responding it will involve 3 of either lower, raise, travel.  In this case it could be electrical.

It is leaking from the 6 pack manifold, It lost air on the entire left side and yes I manually added air

Adam,

That sounds like you have cut an air line that feeds possibly the ride height valve or the main air line that feeds the manifold.

I have a air bag leaking, I pulled all 4 wheel panels and am replacing all the air bags, It is time and I knew it was another todo item that I was putting off, I found the bags for 163.00 each at Findit parts and you get 10% of on first order. Once I get all this done I will be putting it up For Sale.
