Noico 80 mil 10 sqft car Sound deadening mat butyl automotive Sound Deadener ...

It took 2 packs of 10 sq ft. And a roll of foil tape. Went over the top of the old insulation. Used screws with fender washers too. It sticks pretty good, but not good enough to stay up by it self

Chris,

In your pictures, I see fender washers on the top and middle rows. Did you do something different on the bottom row?

I never trust glue in a hot or vibrating or windy environment. Especially where something coming loose could cause a fire or some kind of damage. ALWAYS supplement glue with mechanical fasteners. Safer in the long run.

Mine looks like Nitehawks but I scraped all the old stuff off and got down to metal, then used the 50mil noico with the glue, then
put 2 layers of EZcool over that, did use some washers just in case.(used spray glue on the ez cool.My thinking is the old stuff
was like powder and eventually will fall apart.

Just taped it with the foil tape really good to the bottom rail. Made sure it was super clean, not oil or grease. I drove it with one side done. No issues

Thank you. It's not "show car" and could have been cleaner. I just hate getting greasy working on stuff.

Really looks great ... almost clean enough to eat off of.  :-)  Had mine pressure washed last trip and just got down to second layer of dirt.  Thanks for posting info because this is in future for me ... when I get that "round-tuit."
