RV Fog Pros

I have window snake repairs on my "to do" list. I am familiar with RV Fog Doctor in Searcy, Arkansas (I'll be in Searcy next week but unfortunately sans-coach) and I know there is an outfit in Florida that gets high marks.

I located RV Fog Pros through a web search. They are in the Dallas-Metroplex, which being East Texas based, makes a lot more sense for me logistically as they are 160 miles closer than Searcy. They appear to be a more recent newcomer to window restorations but are also involved in the RV business in sales, service and bodywork (sister company = Professional Sales RV).

The before/after photos on their website and experience in RV service and repair gives me confidence in their work, but I am sure others (along with myself) would find value in hearing about any first-hand experience. Does anyone have any personal experience with their work?

I would be interested in their work too.

Guess I could go ever there Tuesday and see if they have any references available??

It would be quite a trip, they are 2 miles west of me but I would have to drive about 5 miles to get there "LOL"

Thanks Super8mm!  Don't go out of your way... but I am interested in their services.  If you find out anything... I would love to hear your first-hand impressions.  Could be a great option for those of us here in Texas.

Well I stopped by there today and talked to them about this.

What they do is remove the window, take them apart, clean and prep them.  Then they put them back together like the factory but they add a sealer around the edge also to seal the complete window assembly then reinstall it back in the coach.  They can also replace the glass if it cant be clean.

Prices run from $200 for a small window up to $400 for a large window.  Replacing the glass runs about $150 to $200.

They also have a product like Diamond Shield, this is a self healing skin for most abrasions.  They also said removal is much easier and it can be removed in one piece and I believe they said the product has a 10 year warranty.

The above is what they told me so that is all I know.

Yes the same facility, they also to Rentals, and Paint & Fiberglass.

I was suprised that it was there, I have lived here over 10 years and did not know it was there.  If I could go straight there it is only 1.7 miles "LOL"

I used them last year for the entry door window.  It was completely fogged and had water between the panes.  I removed the window myself and took it to them.  Once they were done I did the re-install.  They had to replace both of the panes.  $159 for the glass and $225 for the labor....total $384.  I dealt with Dawn Coss.  Very helpful lady.

It's still in great shape.  Replaced it about a year ago and we've had zero issues.  Very convenient location for us.

I'm with you there Steve!  I have an appointment in early March at FOT with a long list of items which includes airbag replacement.  One thing at a time for me as well... but I appreciate the feedback!  Luckily, windows are not yet fogged... just riddled with "snakes" so hopefully I can get out without replacing the glass.  You know how it goes though... hope for the best but prepare for the worst.  Great information... thanks again all!
