The NEC is different here in east Glaicer Mt. the up side of you don't need to worry about tripping breakers. Might have to worry about letting the smoke out of my 30 to 50 adapter. Quote Selected

I notice our "Powerwatch" sits at 112volts, where on 50 amps it sits at 120+, if that helps. If I'm running 30 amps, I never use anything but one roof air and the fridge + our two computers and t.v. Since the populace is extremely friendly, I spoke with several about their installations and every one that I spoke to was surprised and expressed gratitude. They thought that they had done things correctly (or their electrician had). More than one offerred one or more nights free for having pointed out a danger or inadequacy. Re: Things you find Reply #14 – June 25, 2017, 01:55:40 pm While I agree that this 50 amp breaker will not protect the 30 amp receptacle or your 30 amp power cord from overload, your appliances in your motorhome would not be in danger. The breakers in your motorhome power panel will protect all the circuits in your motorhome. Said another way, while the motorhome circuits would not be in danger, the 30 amp power cord would be at high risk for those who do not manage the maximum watts used. Quote Selected
