Thermostat lost zone 2

The easy things that have corrected that in our coaches didn't work this time.  I've cleaned the telephone connectors on the back of the thermostat and in both units.  I've reset the thermostat after each attempt.

This time the rear ac is running even though not visible on the display (which is good) but we are heading to south Louisiana tomorrow and it may not be a good time for ac trouble.  The front seems fine.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Hi Rick,

If the plugs and jacks on the A/C boards are clean, no broken wires at the board plugs, relays not pitted or resistive (they can be opened ) and no poorly soldered spots / corrosion on the board... then that leaves possible bad cables (shorted or open or poorly crimped connectors) or failed components on the board. Mice, staples and vibration can do strange things to wires and connections.
You might substitute another "data" cable" not a telephone cable - there is an important difference for these Dometic connections.
Lastly, your thermostat could be failing in spite of indicating proper programming resets.
As they say...the problem will be found at the last place you look.

Called MOT and Aubrey said look for a fuse under the cowel on the rear air.  Found the fuse which was not blown.  I thought shucks.  Then put it back together and it has worked all day.

Possibly cracked solder joints of fuse holder to the circuit board? Jim
