Slideout Wiper Seal

Recently had delamination repair by Xtreme and in the process both slides were removed and reinstalled.  I noticed that the wiper on the front slide does not roll under when the slide is retracted.  The rear slide works properly.  Any thoughts?

My (1 slide coach) the wiper  it just wipes and then pops back out to cover the opening when slide is all the way retracted.
The wiper is inexpensive @ FT & easy to install....... just use lots and lots of Windex.
