Potty Room Cable / Pipe Chase

There is a carpeted cable / pipe chase where the floor intersects the outside wall of the potty room that I want to access.  I've read the posts I could find containing "cable chase".  Does that cover have a special name I can search by?  Or does someone know the magic handshake to remove it?

I think you will have to remove the carpet and then remove some screws.  It should be just some plywood.

I removed mine and then built a replacement out of cherry so I can get into it if I need to without removing carpet.
