Bedroom slideout bladder leaking air

Our bedroom slide out bladder has a small rupture leaking air at  the bottom by the slot/guide.

Note: both slide bladders were  replaced by previous owner in 2010, and we replaced living room bladder in Nac at OTM in Feb 2017 after a leak. It "appears" (to me) the bladders are good for about 7-8 years depending upon usage of the slides.

The air compressor ran more than usual, so I checked both slide outs and found the leak by sound very quickly.  As a temporary measure, I pushed some 1/2" thick by 1" wide foam weather-stripping that I had on hand into the area, and have cut the air leak to a trickle. Compressor now only running one to two times per day. I see no need to cut off air flow to the bladder with the basement valve at this point.

We are in place at the Sutherlin Oregon Escapees park for at least one month, possibly two, for doctor and dentist appointments and any follow-ups. 

I will likely have Oregon Motorcoach Center in Eugene do the repair when we are ready to move on.  I'll be contacting them within the next week or two.  RV Seal Inspection & Repair | Oregon Motorcoach | Eugene, OR

I presume you know how to turn off the air to that bladder so the a/c doesn't run?  You can also pick up some 3M tape that will seal the opening and not leave a heavy residue.  Some have used used a scuba suit repair kit for a temp. repair.

Good luck - It's probably OEM and the new one will last a long time.

Yes, thanks.  I know how to cut off the air flow.  This bladder was replaced by the previous owner in 2010.
