Tires

I am going to replace the Michelin XZA-1 275/80R22.5 tires on my coach. The Michelin website suggests three different tires: "X Line Energy Z", "XZE", or "XZE 2". Does anyone have experience with any of these tires or have a recommendation? The FMCA Michelin Advantage price is about the same for all three (within $25 per tire). Tire replacement is a big item so I will appreciate any info that will help me pick a tire.

Gary,

Are you wanting load range G or load range H?  In some cases, that requirement narrows the list of prospective candidates.

I got the Energy tire last time.  They took more weights to balance, but are wearing dead smooth and give better fuel mileage.

We got the Energy tires as well last summer.  Replaced 6-7 yr old Michelins.  Load Range H.  The LRGs are ok if you are very lightly loaded and stay that way but they are overloaded if you approach your max axle load in the front.

These tires ride well and handle well.  Our MPG is up a bit but I am not sure it it all tires.
