Xantrex freedom marine vs rv

I have found a used freedom marine 20 for sale used. Is there a big difference between the marine and the heart interface models that came factory on the  Foretravels? Other than the white case I mean.

No the marine version is just sealed better.

I should add that it has the upgraded remote with it the link 2000. Do you think it uses the same data cable?

I know anything used is a gamble but he is asking 650 thinking I can get it 500. Easy switch over and then maybe I can find some one this side of the border to attempt to repair my factory unit that is overcharging but sensing that and shutting of the charger

Ask the seller if it is phone jack or cat. cable. My Heart 2500 used a phone cord. The Xantrex site states the link 2000 uses the standard remote cable but doesn't give a description.

I have Heart EMS 2800-12 for sale for $400.  It connects with phone cord.  I removed this working perfectly from my 1992 Signature when I replaced it recently with a new Xantrex 3000 sine wave unit.  Unit is in Eugene, OR.  Call me at 541 nine four one 4856
