1996 FORETRAVEL U270 SLIDING WINDOW SCREEN RETAINERS

The window screen retainers on my coach have become brittle and cracked and need to be replaced.
I am not positive that I have HEHR windows in my coach as there is no writing on the windows.
Anyone know for sure what brand the windows are on a 1996 U270?
I need to find replacement screen retainer strips and all assistance will be appreciated.

Jon,
I believe that our coaches are almost the same, and I have Hehr single pane windows.  You have to remove the entire window to see the model or brand on the frame.  Don't do that.  You can get replacement parts form Parkin.  Creation windows The plastic strips under the screens do become brittle.  You might try warming them with a heat gun or hair dryer, but replacement is best.  Order enough to do all the windows as the stuff comes in long strips shipped in a tube.  Costs extra for that, so might as well get enough at one time to do all the windows.

Well, I just looked at Parkin's website and I don't see the track for the screen.  Try giving them a call and see if it is still available.  The track has an "h" shape cross section with the tall side toward the inside of the coach.
