Does anyone have a complete set of old mirrors laying around? Mine are corroded past the point of any keep nd of repair. I was going to have to old ones powder coated but they are too far gone.

New ones are available about 2 1/2 coach bucks. I'm sure the wrecking yards have them but you still don't know what you may get.

You've got a much fresher coach than ours. I looked at my files, and it seems the mirrors are original, maybe Brett replaced them himself. I think they are "Haldex". Let all of us know if you find the the brand. It may be a stretch, but in my business, electricity and metal did not get along (short?) Good luck!  ^.^d

I bought gracerace's new condition pull off set.  Have not switched them out yet.  Mine look nice compared to yours.

Almost feel guilty.  Almost.

My original thought was to have my old ones replated in my travels as I'm so cal this is doable.

If these coaches end up really old someday my spares might be needed again.

I have new Hadley's also.  Unmounted.  Already changed the external refer cover and the washer dryer external vent.

Look better in white versus faded out...

Want to ceramic clear coat the mirrors and Hadley's before mounting them if possible.

Bought flite2010 pull out dash complete for a long term spare.

Coach is a keeper so spares are needed.

When we painted, everything comes off, so we decided to buy new Ramco mirrors in the newer style with plastic housing and three motorized & heated glass surfaces within the larger housing.  We chose unpainted housing and had mirrors painted to match our paint job.  We did have to add a third inside electric mirror control switch and turn signal LED under arms.  We also chose Ramco's optional lighted turn signal arrow built into the flat glass.

Were all the original mirrors chrome plated aluminum?  Ours look like new but are polished aluminum, no plating, that match our Alcoa wheels.  Rust and pit free.  Just a pain to maintain.

I was always envious of the coaches with the Chrome plated mirrors, not so much now. Glad I have bare aluminum, even living close to salt water. Just a little elbow grease a couple times a year keeps them looking like new.

Does anyone know the model number of the Ramco mirrors used on the late 90s coaches?  Ours is a 1997 U270.  I damaged our passenger side mirror today and based on the Ramco site, it appears our mirrors may be 6000 Series based on the cast aluminum housing.  Does anyone know for sure?

Our mirror looks like the picture in Doug W's post 2 years ago.

Thank you.

Our RH mirror body mount is considerably worse than pic 1 in the OP. LH is almost perfect, though, the LH arm is pretty bad on top, likely due to previous owner applying black duct tape to quell reflections.... must have trapped moisture and sea salt.

Good info. Irish. Thanks!

Hi Morris,

You might just call Ramco at 800-321-4819 or 574-266-1455, they should know the mirror for your model.

Yes, called Visone RV a week or so ago on a used Zip Dee.  Although they did not have one available at the time, they said their average price is around $1800.  Can purchase a new one for that color matched.  Hopefully, some of the other parts are priced right for used, but who knows.  Good luck with the search!

Consider getting the newer model with chrome plastic housing. We replaced with chrome plastic that is a bit taller with three glass mirrors inside.
