Nimbus 336 slow step and locating junction box for coax cable

Just had 10 great days at the  Albuquerque balloon festival.  First our step is slow coming back into the coach after we have had the coach running and opening and shutting the door a couple of times.  If someone is passing by we can ask them to nudge the step in but while it is out there you can hear air.

Second we have replaced the TVs with smart TVs in our coach. But when we tried to hook up to cable and we tried to use our toner to check the connection and we were unable to locate the coax connection coming into the coach.  Is there a main junction box located somewhere in the coach?  Besides the one that is linked above the passenger seat.

Below is a picture of the equipment behind the step.

 Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kath & Mike,

This sounds like  your shuttle valve/ Norgen valve that controls the open/close of the step has gotten dirt/trash in the piston area. If this happens it can give the symptoms you have. Depending on the style of valve you have you may be able to just pull it apart and give it a good cleaning. The old style was serviceable the new style are sealed. In your pic. that looks like the regulator and shuttle valve as I see the exhaust ports.
