Rear camera and Javelina system

Rear camera monitor is only showing a blue screen.

Am communicating with Tim @ RV Cams and he is walking me through troubleshooting to verify camera or monitor malfunction.  I have bypassed the Javelina system and have connected the camera feed line to the AV1 input on the monitor.    Neither rear camera or the monitor are OEM.  After chatting with Tim, he has acknowledge that the monitor and camera were sourced from his shop so we will move forward in replacing what needs to be replaced.  So far the monitor appears to be working.

Question:  Since our tanks are being monitored by SeeLevel, can I remove the Javelina box?

The only other would be the compass and if outside temp going from the Javelina. Probably do not need the javelin

Scott, usually the blue screen means a loss of video signal.  The other thing to double check are grounds.

After chatting with Tim this AM was able to determine that one of the rear cameras either don't have power or just went kaput.

Took camera 2 output from the Pioneer GPS/radio/monitor and connected it to our Voyager Monitor and Voila - we have image.

A little more involved than that but the results were good.  Will troubleshoot the right camera when I get to the "get around to it" list.

Thanks John for the 2nd camera setup.  ;)

U guys for chiming in.

And a special thanks to Tim at;  RV Cams: Backup Camera Systems (All) -  He answered emails and tele-questions, forwarded docs and generally directed me through this bump in the road. He went out of his way to assist me in this effort and will contact him again as required.

Pulling the Javelina unit tomorrow.

Yup, Tim "de-man".

Probably knows more about rear/side view RV cameras than everyone else combined.
