Long Linear Dash Vent / Louver

I inquired with a member based on some pictures posted of their newly refurbished dash because I want to install some of the same type of long linear dash vents along the windshield.  My 2000 U320 has a single large centered vent which I want to eliminate.  The member said the long vents were a factory option.  Does anyone have a lead on a source for these units?  See attached photos.  I've searched the site and the web and have struck out on finding anything of this shape for dash installations.

Thanks,

Evan

I believe Aqua Hot uses that vent and non Aqua Hot's use the regular vent. Correct me if I am wrong.

My unit, with the single center vent, is equipped with both an Aqua Hot and engine heat exchanger for dash heat.  The heat exchanger and blower lived directly below that center vent.  I have re-configured my blower & heat exchangers from their OEM location, and want to install the long linear vents as shown above since I no longer am married to that single center vent, and believe I will get better functionality with the longer vents for both heating and defrosting purposes.

With the center vent on our coach I can lower the MCD shade and push it forward of the vent for heating at night. How would you be able to heat at night with a shade covering with the forward vents?

My primary windshield cover is exterior.  I have the same accordion style interior covers that come from the walls with the ends secured to the center of the windshield with velcro as shown in the first set of photos.  I don't have any straight across drop down to worry about.  I use the dash as shoe storage and don't like how the straight across shades block the dash - it's what I prefer.
