O Ring for Toilet Valve

Here is the culprit for dumping gallons of water on my carpet: a $.10 O-Ring. I recommend all RV owners carry a spare. The toilet valve can be dissassembled and repaired in minutes with simple tools. The orange seal is still supple, so I will not be replacing it. However, it would be good to carry a spare. The brass plunger is worn on one side, but it will be rotated and may be good for another 10 years.

I recommend cleaning and lubricating the plunger every year with silicone grease. It takes a beating with all that flushing. It should be sealed better, because it gets dirty from the foot pedal.
