"This page isn't working" ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

Help.  I can connect to the forum on my phone and not on my computer.  I use Chrome and the most current Microsoft browser. I get the same message using both. 
This page isn't working
www.foreforums.com didn't send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
I have tried running Malwarebytes free program, uninstalling, reinstalling Chrome and still the same error.  Anyone know why and how to fix?

I had the same issue doing a search, but it appears to have cleared up now.

Try to Google "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" .  Results should explain why it happens and how to fix.

Try clearing cookies and if that doesnt work look at the actual address it is sending you to.. might need updated or changed

Have the same problem on my droid phone but the Macbook Pro is OK.  Rebooted phone and still not connecting.  Have no idea where Cookies are -

Was working earlier today.

Clear your browser history

also look at the link that the phone is sending you to.. or delete the link and manually put the page in.. My office computer did this and somehow my shortcut had changed and couldnt find the site I was looking for but I could on my phone

Just received an email on my phone with a link to this site.  Tried to open the link and got the same message.  Manually inputted address and got the same message.  Have found website on Google and tried to connect from there and get the same message.  Works fine on my Macbook just not the droid.  LG G6.

Yes, there a problem, probably will the site's provider.  By the posts here with problems, and by a member in Texas with the same issue that I talked to by phone.  I am in Oregon and the problem has been off and on all day with my computer and my phone.  Same error message when I tried to connect away from my house and on ATT cell tower.

Works fine for me.  I'm connecting from our house with my iMac desktop using our AT&T 4G hotspot.  All looks normal here...

Hmmm.  Connected phone to our Mobley for web access and I get the forum on the Droid.  Macbook is also connected to Mobley and connect.  When Phone is connected to AT&T 4GLTE does not connect.

Very strange, Macbook connects through ATT hotspot, Netgear, but not through ATT fiber optic and wireless router

Just spend about an hour on the phone with AT&T.  They do not know what the problem is.  My better half has Verizon service and she can't connect either.

It is interesting that when connected to the Mobley I can connect with the droid phone but not through 4G LTE.

Earlier today I was connecting on the iPad, iPhone, and my MacBook Pro. Now suddenly, it doesn't work on my Mac, though it is fine on theiPad and iPhone. Strange... well, I guess two out of three ain't bad.

Try going to the full site,, not the mobile.. could possibly be a problem with the mobile site working

Still working fine here in the wilds of West TX.  I always connect using iMac or Macbook and our Mobley/Unite Explore.  I don't notice anything unusual about how the Forum is operating, yesterday or today.  ???

The mobile app has crashed is what I am thinking ..site may need a reboot

Denial of service hack? Mac, iPad, iPhone, doesn't matter, can't get in 9 out of 10 tries.

I got the same message for a couple days.  Considering that in all the years that this site has been in existence this is only the second time that I can recall that it was down.
As usual our untiring web masters provide service above and beyond what we should expect, and at no cost.  There is a special place in the next world for them.

Steve has fixed it.  IPv6 on members' devices (and the resulting difference in IP addresses) were causing some to be blocked by the forum firewall.  Basically, the forum didn't recognize them as valid IP addresses and blocked the user as part of our site security.
