Thin lite lens

Does anybody have a a source for these in bulk. Maybe in 4 foot sections. I have ordered LED strip lights, and would like to make a continuous linear fixture by removing the ballast covers.

In a separate question, are there any spots other than the bathroom and over the kitchen sink that would benefit from a double row of LED tape. Yes whip me with a wet noodle, because I know this has been written up before. But it's kind of like searching for tires or oil recommendations.

I know it's a really long shot, but has anybody found the source of the aluminum base rail for these lights because it would be really great to do the whole engine bay with these. And or the basement storage compartments.

Another Forum I belong to has arranged group buys, where they contact the manufacturer and ask them for a possible discount based on a large number of items.

I don't have any lenses left, but here's what I did for our interior LED retrofit.  Might give you some ideas:

I replaced both fluorescent lights in the bedroom. On the passenger side, I used three strips. They were fairly bright, but I did notice a significant dimming when I placed the plastic cover over the lights.

After seeing that result, I used five strips on the driver side. It is very bright and works for us.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Chuck for your excellent write-up, I finally got some p and Q time to go through your entire previous post. I ordered 10 meters of the bright white stuff, but maybe I will rethink that now after seeing your coach. I will definitely order those extrusion and covers.
