Trailer/toad wiring question

Trying to figure out the wiring for the toad lights. Is this an add on or was it on the coach from the factory?

Do you pull a toad and have a wire harness on it?

Yes we pull either a Trailblazer or an Envoy and we have a separate wiring harness that feeds a light bar that goes into our receiver tube.

That is the same set up that our coach came with. Its purpose is to combine the turn signals and brake lights because most American cars of the time did not have separate amber turn signals (my speculation). Our Honda Fit has separate amber turn signals, and as I prefer that option, I removed it. The towed has diodes in the harness to prevent back feed, so I didn't see the point of keeping it.
