I have no idea what this post was about, but that won't stop me from chiming in.
The problem with storing (or just not driving) out coaches is that within a couple of weeks, parasitic losses draw the starting battery down too far to start the coach. Then you resort to using the boost switch.
Which I did, until i bought a battery minder, a small AC powered trickle charger that puts more into the battery than parasitics take out. It works very nicely.
The other common option is a Trik-L-Start, a device that trickle charges the starting battery from the house battery. These too work very will.
I use a third option, a voltage sensitive relay in place of the diode isolator. This device connects the starting battery to the the house battery, much as the boost switch does, but only when any battery is receiving charge. Now all the batteries are charged whenever the engine is running, or the inverter/charger is getting AC from the shore or generator, or from the solar charger. I'm very pleased with this third option, which I have been using for 3+ years.
