AirGuide Compass

My '91 U280 has a mention of a compass on the options list and I found an unmounted old school marine style AirGuide compass loose in the coach, and the mounting bracket in a drawer.  Any idea where it would have originally been mounted?  I know it a world of GPS a magnetic compass is a relic, but it is kind of cool and I want to reinstall it and wire up the illumination.

Just to be clear this is not the electronic compass later Foretravels use.

Wish mine had one, had them on my boats. I'm a "analog guy", if you ever want to get rid of it, I'll give it a good home!  ^.^d

Would have to be mounted in sight of the driver, so that narrows the possibilities.  On a GV, I would probably hang it from the bottom of the overhead cabinet enclosure, to keep it away from electrical interference from dash components.  Look for old existing holes up there.
