AUX. COMPRESSOR "VENTING"

The aux compressor in the bay has started continuous releasing air from under the glass/plastic bowl.
This happens when coach running, not the aux compressor.
Under the bowl there is a small canister with a black connector. It is releasing air out of that. That small black connector is 90 degrees to the bowl.
Just started last couple of days as I noticed air system losing air fast overnight.
Don't understand these things too well so excuse the terminology.
Is there something I should check, adjust or turn on/off?
Thanks
Craig Knight

Craig, what year and model is your coach?  Do you have any pictures of the canister and connector?

Thanks

Sorry
We have a 2009 Nimbus CE (Texas Edition)
The compressor is a Thomas brand.
As viewed from looking in bay the bowl is on right side and connected to bottom of bowl is a silver color "canister " with a black extension, maybe 1-1/2" long. That is where air is being released.

Not many 09 owners on the forum, best if you can post a picture. Air system components are pretty standard, If we see it, we can probably help you.

picture. If you are talking about valve in lower right, it is your water purge valve that opens after aux comp stops. Could indicate check valve from main tanks, or slide seal tank is leaking through.  Hard to tell without air schematic for your coach.

I'm thinking along the same line as Jim C.

Regardless of year model, the HWH compressors usually operate the same.  The output from the compressor goes through the water separator, then through a check valve and into the line connecting to your air system.  The water purge valve at the bottom of the water separator is open any time the compressor is not running.  If the check valve on the line going to your air system is leaking, system air pressure will go "backwards" through the check valve, then through the water separator, and out the open solenoid valve on the bottom of the canister.  Solution:  remove check valve and clean or replace.  See "generic" diagram below:
