Storage Ideas for Passenger Fuel Bay

This bay has become the home for cleaning products typcially in spray bottles or cans (windex, cleaner, touch up paint, etc.
I seem to remember pictures of a rack someone mounted in this bay.  Can't remember if it was somehow affixed to tank cover or some sort of rack sitting or mounted on the floor.

Thanks.

Here you go.

Get it at Amazon.
Amazon.com: Product Handlers Four Spray Can / Spray Bottle Holder Caddie...

I used 3M VHB tape. It will not stick to the plastic can holder but the tape will stick to your aluminum tank or fiberglass cover that is over the end of the tank. Screw it to a thin piece of plywood and stick that to the tank or cover with 3M VHB tape.  Clean well with what ever cleans it and then alcohol as a prep before using the VHB tape.

Randy, I got the rubber coated basket from 'the container store" I think Bed Bath and Beyond also carries them. Used 3M VHB Tape with short screws and fender washers.

I assume the white face is in front of the actual fuel tank (aluminum). Can a short screw be safely inserted without penetrating the fuel tank?

Randy, the screws go into a piece of 1x1/8 aluminum flat stock, cut to the length you want. Drilled and tapped the flat stock. That piece is then stuck to the VHB tape. The bottom piece is angle aluminum just stuck on with VHB 3M tape for support. Has worked well for me.

cant go wrong with the VHB tape.. its holding my solar panels on the roof in 4 spots each panel and they are solid as a rock.. made me a believer!!

I'm a slow learner (just ask my wife). The basket is attached to a board or length of aluminum of the proper size using some small bolts and fender washers. The board/aluminum piece is then attached to the fuel tank using the 3M VHB tape. Is this correct? Sounds like a good project.

I just went out and looked at my tank. I can't put anything between the tank and the door because there isn't room. I can, however, put something on the side of the tank.

Yes, that way, I can remove the basket if I need to
