Larger one is for hydraulic fan.
Smaller for power steering.

Both have filter(s) in them that should be changed every couple of years.

Thanks, Brett. I'll check the files to see if I've got filter numbers. Fluid changes every????

I just changed mine out yesterday the FOT p/n is: 84101B, mine takes 3 filters. It is a good idea to change out the gasket too, p/n 99955A.

The correct procedure:

Drain oil from reservoir-- I use a piece of cheap, clear hose and start a siphon.

Only after it is complete drained (you are draining the outside/"dirty side" of the filter elements) remove the wing nut and filters.  REASON:  if you remove the filters with any oil in the outside of the filters, you will allow that unfiltered oil to mix with the "filtered side" oil-- not a good idea.

Install new filters, washer and wing nut.

Fill with Delo 400 15-40 (quantity equal to what was drained out).

Install lid-- new gasket a good idea, but if it leaks, can easily be replaced later).

Recheck oil level with dip stick.

No need to change additional fluid unless you see signs of contamination or metal.

Yes, we got back Friday night from our two month South America trip.

Just happened to have just the gizmo for changing the hydraulic fan/power steering reservoirs. I use it to add Biobor to the fuel.
It's cheap, Google "RV Siphon Transfer Pumps".  ^.^d
