Entry Door assist handle just received from Foretravel

I called Foretravel parts asking if they had any front entry door assist handles in stock. They did, so I bought one. I have attached 2 pictures. Cost was $24 plus shipping. I also asked if they had the chrome escutcheons and gaskets, they did not. Their part number is E5000DE.
My present handle is checked and cracked. The escutcheons are slightly pitted. I may have them re-plated. I will make new gaskets

Several months ago I replaced our entire door handle assembly the only difference is they will not engrave Foretravel in the handle. ITC Incorporated is the company that i ordered it from and they are the supplier to Foretravel.

I got ours from Fleming Sales OEM | Premium RV Accessories and Parts For Your Model They engraved the handle and machined both ends so it slips right in without having to remove the top keeper! Nice company, prompt service!

I just ordered one for my'00 U320 for $27. It has a different part number than the '05 u270: 100012M

Do the newer handles & keepers look like our's? When I ordered from Fleming, all they asked was "Make, model, year". Oh yes, they asked what color I wanted 'Foretravel' etched in.

Got mine last year from Fortravel with the top and bottom gaskets. While I had it all apart, I scrubbed the chrome (not it's nice and shiny) and replaced the light in the top with a 3-LED strip. Much brighter.
