Bay door gas strut part number

Looking to replace our U270 hinged-bay-compartment-door air struts.
OEM are SpringLift SL-34-20, which 20" long, 8" stroke and 20 lb pressure.
We do NOT have the U320 lift up cargo-type bay doors.

Since 20 lb (40 lb for the pair) worked for so many years, we are reluctant go too much higher, so as to not stress hinge or strut mounts.

We see that SpringLift is now owned by Attwood and has been rebranded as Attwood.  Also the SL-34-20 part number is now listed as SL-34-20-5.  I wonder what the '5' refers to...

What have you installed?
Anyone have Suspa brand cross reference numbers?
How about those that have installed higher pressure rated struts?
In the past and also noted on our Forum, FT & MOT have had good prices.  Any other recommendations?

Search did not yield what I was looking, so I am reaching out.

On my todo list, how much difference in size/pressure would it be for the 320?

Yup, I just replaced ours, same model # SL34-20-5 . Extended: 20" , Compressed: 12". Good to carry a couple of spares, easy off/on.  ^.^d

Add-on: a little baby flat-head screwdriver gets the lockers open, easy, no need to take the locker off all the way, just enough to slide it off the keeper.

Mike, Thanks for the affirmation that that is the part number, and the same pressure will hold up the doors for another 20 years.

Where did you buy and about what was the cost.

Thanks,
Barry

I ordered struts from this place for the bed.  They carry struts of all sizes and different manufacturers.

Got the Gas Springs from: Reliable Marine Parts Source        Email: info@eastmarine.us  ..954.941.0212      The shocks were $13.00 ea.    Cost me $16.00 to ship it priority mail...total......$67.76 for four. I might have gotten a 'bro deal' as we were staying at my Uncles' KOA and used his address.  ^.^d
