Cigarette lighter not getting power

Hello!

Have a 1990 Grandvilla 29' gas engine puller with the Ford 460 on the Oshkosh chassis.

Had some belt issues recently that I got resolved, but somehow in the process lost power to my cigarette lighter.

I've checked the connection to the lighter and am not getting power at the lighter on the multimeter.

I've traced back the blue wire to the top left of the fuse box where it says "bat" which I'm assuming means battery. I'm also not getting 12 volts there - my volt meter reads at about 1 volts.

It may be related, but my radio is also not working, though I do have 12 volts at the power to that so it may not be related.

Also... other stuff seems to be working fine - dash gauges, headlights, blinkers, etc...

I'm not sure what to check or where to go from here. Since the issues came up after I was working under the doghouse on the belts, I feel like that may be related but I'm not sure how or what to check.

Would love Any help you can offer :)

May be as simple as the coach 12 volt turn off switch.  Mine is in the entryway.  This is a common occurrence after a coach has been worked on.

The cigarette lighter is the ONLY appliance that gets power from the START battery. You have a blown fuse somewhere under the dash or something such.

You have a coach that is not like many on the forum so it is hard for most of us to just guess.  In our coach there is a panel in front of the oass seat that has a circuit breaker for the lighter.  If it is just that which is not working then I would start looking for a fuse or circuit breaker.

Have you checked the fuses under the lift up dash? If I remember there is a fuse block above the radiator. I can not find my manual that I had for that chassis.

Do you have the schematic for your rig? Check fuses first and then go to the schematic. Check the forum library for one that covers your coach.
