12 volt compressor fuse

So I found out why the 12 volt compressor wasn't starting to help keep the coach level.... the fuse is missing.
Any Idea what amperage this fuse is?  Standard automotive type fuse or something more?
Thanks!

Thanks Roger. Its not the 15 amp fuse its the fuse holder that is on the compressor harness from control box 9700 (black) that goes to the solenoid. Unless that is not a fuse holder, but something else.... but looks like one to me.  I took pics of the solenoid but not the fuse holder. I will do that and post it. Thanks for the documents on the leveling system. At this time I have none of the factory wiring diagrams but the PO will send me his on PDF soon.

Here is the HWH slide manual.  I have a complete parts manual but it is too big to download onto the Forum.  I can go look to see if there is an inline fuse.  Not shown in wiring diagrams.  Are you sure it is a fuse holder and not just a waterproof connector?  If you need a fuse it is likely a round glass fuse.  Try 15 amps to start.

Not sure what this is now. Its not a fuse holder. I don't see a fuse holder anywhere around the compressor. Now I'm puzzled cause there should be some kind of fuse there. And this something inline which looks like a fuse holder is not.
pic attached.
So Roger after looking at the docs on the air leveling system/slideout there seem to be a lot of those connectors, not sure what the purpose is though. Would be nice to know. I don't see a fuse near my compressor, but I will look again and trace wires. Thanks for the pdf!

Might look behind white fuse panel in lower compartment, my 99 [non slide] had resetable breaker there. Little red button on side.

They are completely weather proof, the rubber accordion seals it up.

What you think is a fuse holder is just a weatherpack electrical connector. No fuse.

Thanks! Yeah I tried to put a fuse in it... doesn't fit. Seems like a expensive way to put in a connector, but I guess thats one reason Foretravel is a better coach.

It is the one below where it says HWH Comp 15 Amp.  There should be an in-line automotive style blade fuse, 15 amp, near the compressor.  Here is a picture of the pressure switch.

As usual Roger you are a wealth of information and I thank you!  ;D

Hopefully I can diagnose this before noon, when I have to turn into a sleep monster for the weekend drudgery called work where the only thing I can do is sleep eat and work. Still it pays the bills.  ^.^d

Same year....same issues.....I had no fuse in line. When my aux compressor was short cycling, I disconnected a blade type connection and installed an inline switch. I was just at HWH. where I had a new bladder installed. I also asked them to service the aux compressor. They put in a new solenoid looking gizmo, and it seems to be working fine. I will keep a close eye on it. Before I left the shop, I wanted to hear the aux "come on". They couldn't make that happen, even after dumping air out of the bags. I insisted that they keep looking for the problem, and, low and behold, the tech had missed the ground wire when he was reassembling. It WAS a pretty tight spot for a big guy to work.....for two hours!!!!! I really liked hearing the little compressor humming away.

Interesting Glenn. There is no inline fuse on mine either. And checking the voltage across the solenoid, shows 13 volts so there is power to it, and across it. So that might mean the compressor is shot, no? These compressors are pretty damn expensive from what I have heard, so if it is, will have to have it rebuilt if possible. I will take it out next week
Also opened the control box for the leveling system and there are a bunch of fuses in there, with 2 15 amp blade fuses, but all fuses are good.
Of course I could just take it to a tech and pay 150 per hour. Multiples of what I make in the health care industry. But I'm stubborn and like to find out stuff for myself, with you guys help of course. And thanks for that!
