The decision to sell - and forum thanks.

A few months ago, I told the story about we decided to stop full-timing a buy a house, after Erin had the second child - in no small part because it was becoming difficult for me to be productive at work (which I also did full-time in the FT) with two attention-grabbers only a few feet away most of the day.

I also told you how I felt the smart decision would be for me to tell the motorhome at that point.  MANY of you encouraged me to reconsider, and as a direct result of those messages we decided to hang onto the motorhome for a few months and revisit the topic.  However, now that the moving process has settled down, it's become clear that my energy is needed in this house, and the FT isn't going to get the attention she deserves.

(Side story: We bought a very old house "with character" that has a completely unfinished full size attic and completely unfinished full size basement to go along with the two that are currently live-able!  It's taken me months to take care of the 2 livable floors. Just finished a 100% kitchen reno including re-piping, we chose a farm-house sink and butcher block countertops and it looks great!  Aaaaaand now I have two more full stories to work on... I have my hands full!)

ANYWAY, it was a very heavy heart that I wrote up our RVTrader listing.  I will get around to put a classified ad on this site soon, but for now here is a link to the motorhome if you know anyone who is interested.  We really have a beauty here, and we hope someone will take good care of her!

I also just wanted to extend my sincerest gratitude to the members of the forum.  More than I made it clear, the posts on this forum were my virtual family on the road.  I checked the forum 8-10 times a day.  Read every post.  You guys helped me through dozens of uncertainties, and I can't thank you all enough.

I hope you have many good memories and good luck selling your rv.  The white looks terrific.  I suggest changing your post in Rvtrader to read levelers: yes, you have air leveling, which costs more than hydraulic leveling.  Someday you may return to the Foretravel adventure.

There is a time for everything and I know what you are feeling selling your coach. I still miss mine but life changes and proprieties will change. This would have happened as the kids get older and more involved in activities. Look for a class c and use it around the state. VA has great state parks and you will not mind not using it every weekend and it is a great home base for kids events.

James,

Good idea to most info and link in the "Classified" section here on the Forum.
