Oregon weather this weekend changing

In Oregon they say if you do not like the weather,
Wait 10 minutes.  ...WETTER AND COOLER WEATHER THIS WEEKEND ...

Widespread rain is on the way for this weekend, with rain moving onto the South Washington and North Oregon Coast Friday morning.  Rain will spread into the Willamette Valley Friday afternoon. Rain will continue on and off through Sunday, tapering off Monday.
Expect most of the rain to fall Friday night into Saturday, when amountms of around 0.5 inch are forecast.

Snow levels will also be falling lower than they have been in a while, dropping down to around pass levels Saturday night into
Sunday morning. While pavement temperatures will prohibit snow from sticking at the passes, people up in the mountains camping or hiking may encounter an inch or two of snow if up above 4500 feet overnight Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Snow levels will be lifting back up above the passes Sunday. Daytime high temperatures will also be much cooler than normal, with highs only in the low 60s for most of the area near sea level.

Wish you could send some of that to us in West Texas.  We have had nothing but relentless heat here, and very little rain.  :'(

If you're working in the Oil Patch, it's all good.  Living on fixed income...not so good.  Yes, excellent time to move...to somewhere else.

We're in Eugene OR and had rain last night.  I'm seeing blue skies right now.  Rain is a nice change from San Diego, but no fun if you have to transition in and out of camping spots.

We crossed the tracks in Midland a couple of hours before the train hit the parade float back in 2012. The truck driver could see down the tracks a couple of miles at least.

Lucky to see the sun at all in Western Oregon. Bend is usually nice and dry.

Great to meet you two yesterday in Eugene. Enjoyed our visits and appreciated your tech comments for this new to FT coach owner. We left today heading south. Spots of rain, sometimes fairly intense. That's spring in Oregon, although seasonally it is getting late for this cold of a frontal system. If you stop anywhere near the Rogue Valley please send me a message. Susan and I would like to meet up if the timing works.

Safe travels!

I like the weather here in Oregon. I've finally accepted that 10 minutes is just the perfect amount of instability for me. It's the long winter days of rain or those stretches of summer heat that make me want to move.

Really enjoyed connecting with you and Angelina. Had a wonderful time! Hope to see you again soon.

We also enjoyed meeting and talking with you (Michael and Susan) and sorry we didn't have more time to chat.  We were impressed with all that you did to your coach.  From what I could see, it is in great shape, especially the bulkheads - don't think you have anything to worry about there.  Enjoy your trip.
