2000 LEWIS & CLARK MOTORCADE

Hey Folks.  Did any of you guys go on the 2000 Lewis & Clark motorcade from St. Louis to Oregon.  My late wife and I did and had a wonderful time until it was time to head home in our 97 295.  Unfortunately it caught fire and was destroyed on Vail Pass in Colorado.  When we recovered from the shock some time later we got another brand. 

Now I am getting close to getting another FT.  Just wondering if any of the folks on this forum were on that wonderful trip years ago.

We were on the 2003 -- I think that was the first year for L&C.

No, 2001 was definitely the year we went because my wife Charlotte passed away in 2003 after a lengthy illness.  L&C was really a great trip wasn't it?

George,

No were were not on that trip but were in Colorado at the same time.  We saw the aftermath though. Our paths crossed after you had bought your replacement coach and we talked about the fire. We are not for sure but our meeting could have been at Big Bend NP but that has been a long time ago. Hope you find your new coach, there are several members here that have there coaches up for sale. Keep looking and something will meet your needs and taste if you arn't in a big hurry.
