2002 dash air refrigerant type?

What is the dash air refrigerant type in my 2002 U 320? I don't think it has been changed.

While we are talking refrigerant types, What type would a 1995 model year use?

1995 should be (but needs to be verified) R134A.

The good news is that the low and high ports are different between R12 and 134A.

Go on offer up and craigslist and get a used bottle. The big one.. seen them for 25-100 with almost a full tank

Do you mean has it been changed from like R-12 (freon) to R134a?  You definitely have R134a as my 96 came with it and as someone said the connections are different.  There is no need to change the refrigerant like you would change engine oil if that is what you mean.  All the stores sell a can with a small amount of oil, but there is no need to add oil unless you have had a leak and definitely know oil has been lost.  Don't add oil just because you may want too.  Too much oil will make the system perform poorly, not cool as much as it should.  Production of R-12 was not allowed after Jan 1, 1996.

Walmart has it for less than 5.00 per 12 oz can I think it was 4.85 or 4.88
