Generator won't crank

need help with Powertec  10 KW gen. Motor is a Kubota four cylinder. Coolant and oil are OK.
Pushing start switch primes the motor but nothing happens. After appx. 15 seconds the green light
comes  on and it says the gen is running. Several attempts later the fault light comes on. Fuel is going thru
the fuel filter.
Any suggestions ? Pardon the typos, I've been RVing for fifty years and this is the first time to use the computer.

After having the problems I've had with my 10kw Powertech (Isuzu) the first thing I would do is pull the cover off the control box and make sure there are no broken or disconnected wires and pull each relay then plug it back in to reseat it.
Is the starter turning the motor over?

Good advice from Folivier. Look closely at wire and connections, first step in trouble shooting. If you have the schematics check for 12 volts as well as any fuses and breakers related to the 12volt start side.
