1986 GV Entry Steps

Fellow Foretravelers, I'm trying to figure out how my steps should be secured. PO changed flooring and the steps float and wobble. I am referring to the steps that have the batteries underneath. Its an 86 GV. Would someone be so kind as to post a few pics for me?

That's what I'm missing. Mine just lift out. I thought there might be a hinge. Thank you!

Mine doesn't have the piano hinge. But I bought one. Haven't installed it... cause I actually like how easy it it to remove and work on things in there. It's more difficult with the hinge. My friends has the hinge. Makes the stairs in the way when you get in there.

I've just rebuilt the staircase to have nicer flooring and sides. And put in stair edging around the top. It stopped the wobble.

You'll have to excuse the kids shoes and toys. But here is em the way the stairs are now. No hinge.
