Need wall thickness of 2005 U270 for window order.

Does anyone know the exact exterior wall thickness  on a 2005 U270? It's very close to 2-1/8" but I can't get exact width until windows are removed which won't be for a few months. I'm trying  to get a quote from Motion windows/Peninsula glass. The wall thickness is one of their questions. The other question is the radius of the corners. The coach has the original Creative windows in it.
Thanks to all in advance

Measured the wall thickness at 1 7/8" on my 1999 U320 and have a 3" radius on creation windows. Have Motion windows being built at this time, expecting delivery about 2nd week of August. The windows I selected have a 2" frame thickness, trim is offset to compensate for wall thickness. Hope this will be of some help to you.

Curtis,

Our '98 U270 had Creation Windows, 3" radius and 1 15/16" wall thickness.
Our '02 U320 has Creation Windows, 3" radius and 1 7/8" wall thickness (1.8760" actual, mic of dryer vent plug).

I took an inner bezel off a window on the '98 to get an actual measure before placing order.  I think the target thickness, through the years, is probably 1 7/8", but as you know, once you order the windows, you own them.  Motion Industries/Peninsula is easy to work with and helpful, but I'm sure they will not speculate on what your measurements "might" be.  It would be worth taking a bezel off, prior to placing your order.

Good advice from Neal, measure what yours is.  Xtreme in NAC has a rubber gasket material for installing the windows instead of the putty stuff that will ooze out forever.  It works well.  I think it was $1/ft when I bought mine.

Roger,
The "D" (profile) gasket came with our windows from Peninsular.  When we did the windows in our '98, there was about 120% of what we needed, supplied as part of the window order.  I think that was standard practice in 2009/2010.  But you raise an excellent point - don't use anything but the "D" profile gasketing.

What was amazing to us was that the Peninsular windows not only looked and operated a 1000% better, but they were also soooo much quieter than the Creation windows.  The majority of that quiet I attribute to the vastly improved seal provided by that "D" profile gasket.  Upon removal, we found that our '98 windows had numerous places where the "Gooey, caulking-gun-applied" OEM sealant had voids and air gaps that contributed to wind noise finding its way inside the coach, while going down the road.  I don't know if that was just our '98 or if it was standard OEM fare for the era.

The Motion/Peninsular windows are sadly missed in our U320 (even though the 2002 generation of OEM rubber gasketing is much better).  I certainly don't miss cleaning up the constant oozing of that grey goop, but, at over 4CB's to upgrade them (materials alone) the windows will just have to wait for more pressing needs to be worked off first.
