Roadmaster Brite Lite install

Since putting in the roadmaster baseplate and a roadmaster tail light wiring kit with separate bulbs, I need a 3-2 converter to power all the bulbs for turn, brake and lights. I did a search on the forums, and did not come up with any hard data. What I am looking for is how to best tap into the coaches brake, left and right turn signals. I guess I could tap into the existing receiver hitch, but wonder if there is a better way. And ideas?
Thanks,
Bob

I used something like this spliced into my coach wiring prior to the hitch plug. Hopkins Tail Light Converter Kit with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Hopkins... I had a powered one but it got water in it and shorted out so I went back to a basic one.

I used the wires going into the convertor that came from the factory, to wire my Jeep up.

I am using, and had perfect results with: Amazon.com: Roadmaster 732 Brite-Lite 3-to-2 Wiring Converter: Automotive

And I've been told by a great tech, not to use one made by Curt.  He has found approx 30% of them defective.  Even said one mfg is having them replaced on new rvs, on a campaign by dealers, due to so many failures.  Sounded crazy as I like many items built by Curt.  Amazon.com: Curt Manufacturing CURT 58240 Non-Powered 3-to-2-Wire Taillight...

I too wired it right above hitch sitting on cross rail, replacing what I thought was the factory unit.

It is good to note that these devices are only necessary when the towed has combined brake and turn signals. Our Honda Fit towed has separate (amber) turn signals and I removed the factory combiner and rewired the socket. I prefer the separate amber turn signals over the combined units (just like our coach), because I think it gives more of a sense of urgency to the driver in my blind spot >:D .

Thanks for all the reply's. I wired it today after purchasing a Hopkins 47180 Endurance Multi-Tow 4 Flat to 7 RV Blade and 4 Flat Wiring Kit from amazon with next day free shipping.. I had to put that in for a just in case I have to tow a real trailer. The 4 flat setup I have for my jeep wouldn't work then. So with this, I have the best of 3 worlds in towing. 4 flat, 7 wires and the one the po left me. I tapped into the wires going to the old hitch. Havne't been able to hook the jeep up to test it yet but should be ok. Still have to hook up a 12volt power to it, but for now it will work for my needs. Hot as heck here in south Texas and during the cooler times I am out side working on it, but when it gets hot i am into my new project, sewing new awnings... but that is for a new thread soon to come.
