Backup monitor won’t pop up

The backup monitor on my 2003 acts dead. Is there a fuse somewhere?  It won't pop up after flipping the power on and hitting the blue button.

Probably a broken wire.  Time to start tracing.  Start by checking every solderless connector.

I have found the culprit, a slightly burned connector supplying power to the back of the "radio" with the pop up. Wiggling and cleaning got it working until I ca replace the connector

This brings up another question:  where is the relay  supplying power here?  The wiring diagram shows a switch with multiple heavy gauge wires, but the actual switch only has two thin wires.
