transmission fluid and now transmission has leak.
$5,000 bill. I will never let anyone work on motor
home other than factory or Cummins or Allison
certified from now on.

I have a new interest in this topic since the coach we just traded for has the red Plantmaster hose on it.  I see that this Plantmaster hose and the Gates "Fuel Master Extreme" that is rated for all sorts of fuel including bio diesel have the same inner core "Type C Nitrile Black."  I did see where it's not recommended for an oily environment.    I try to keep my coach free from that.

I wonder if the failure on the one coach was a bad piece of hose or other issue.  I'm going to drive mine like it belongs there unless there are multiple failures reported.

Rick- I agree with you.  I did have my fuel lines replaced by Bernd in 2015 and so far am having no issues with them.  I will monitor the forum and also my coach for issues.

My research shows nitrile is used in many fuel lines and can be used with B20 but no more.  The changing fuels seems to be the problem for us with older coaches designed to run on diesel fuel.  Fuel is no longer KISS I guess................. ;)
