Dometic switch inside and top of frame

I could not read the markings on the inside and top of Frig frame. I could only make out the on and off switch. What does the switch control? Thanks

I'd say for condensation around the door.

I've been told that older Dometic fridges had a defrost mode controlled by a switch like you describe.  Unfortunately I've never had such a fridge.

I have a mystery switch also, below the door of a RM 2807. Just discovered my  documents are for a 3801 which didn't indicate a mystery switch. Kwik edit wiring diagram shows a switch for door heater cable.

I had a RM3663 for about 10 years. I'm pretty sure it's a humidity switch. Turn it on if the humidity is high,

YEs Dakota, door heaters are used in high humidity areas to keep condensate water from forming around the exterior of the door gasket.
