Leak under Refrigerator

I have a Pretty bad leak, as soon as I pressurize the Water supply, that seems to be coming from under the Fridge! I shut the water supply off to the Washer/Dryer, and that system seems to be OK, anyway!  But the Line that ONLY what looks like a 1/2" Water Line that goes up from Floor Level from the rear of the coach, to the Center Area, Back Wall below the Fridge!  I go outside and although I see the Cables and Wires, and LP Supply line Come though, the Grey Water Line(?) Does not!  I cut an area on that panel in the Compartment Below the Fridge to access it, only to find Insulation panels. I slid the Refrigerator in a few inches, only to find a Fastened down panel, (From Outside) which cannot be accessed.  So, it appears that that particular 1/2" Water Line is "Sandwiched"between the two Surfaces?  I cannot, for the life of me, find just where it goes?  Going forward to the Coach, it comes up to about 14" or so, to where?  That I cannot Determine?

So, can anyone tell me what that line supplies?  Does it come from across the Coach?  Hot or Cold Water? And the Biggie here is, can I just cut it, and put a Valve, so I can just Isolate it temporarily? After 14 Months,  we are finally getting on the road, Water, or No Water, LOL!  It can be further troubleshot once i get to my destination, and I can run a new section ,but right now, I have No Clue to what it is even for?  Thank You, Gals and Gents!

The First Pic is a shot under the Fridge area, showing the GREY 1/2" Line.  From the Rear of the coach to the Center area, under the Fridge!

The second pic is a closeup of where it goes under the Fridge area, you can see it is still wet, from yesterday, but was dripping there, and followed the Lower panel, to drip just below the Fridge, as well!

Where that line ends up supplying, is sure a Mystery to me?

I guess if no one knows, I will just cut it and add a Valve anyway?  LOL, then when I shut it off, at least I will determine what it goes to! ;)  From there, Make my Repair later, down the line!

LOL, well, hey, so it was a 1/2" line going up to the Back, and 1/4" Line that fed the Icemaker!  I swear 1/2" goes up to it, and a 1/4" line pops out the TOP!  Seems they have a reducer stuck in the wafer area!  NEVER OVERLOOK the Obvious, huh?  Seems when I drained all my lines, when I winterized last year,  I used that Line to Blow all the others out, actually in several Places!  After you said that, Jack, I went out and Pressurized it, walla!  Water coming out of the 1/4" to Hose Bib Fitting!  Now to just cap that!  Issue GONE!  LOL

There should be a solenoid valve somewhere that allows the icemaker to fill? The icemaker lines didn't freeze-up there in PA did they?

I had removed that line, nearly a year ago, to Back Pressure, the Water system, with air, and left it disconnected, where I didn't quite see it! LOL  It does not freeze! What turns to mush, Tom?  The lines themselves?  I hooked it back up to the Demand Regulator/Solenoid Valve, no Leaks....so far, LOL

The plastic water line turns to mush. I replaced mine twice before the refrigerator caught fire, then good riddence.

Where was the Source of the Fire?  The Ice Maker area on my fridge, you can see where the Plastic liner, next to it, is Distorted, due to overheating, and it is now unplugged/worthless! I will remove the Hardware for more space!

My refrigerator fire was the classic, leaking hydrogen found a source of ignition. It wasn't cooling well, had it looked at, and was going to have the cooling unit replaced. The fire happened while running on electric. I hit it with a fire extinguisher and there was no damage other than the refrigerator. Insurance paid for the replacement, a custom marine unit with 12v Danfoss compressors.

My Goodness, Tom!  So glad you found it in Time!  The Salvage Yards that have Motorhomes, out there, almost always have a Fire in the refer area that nearly destroys the Coaches.  Some probably burn to the ground, as well! Wow!  So, if you happen to know the Name and Model, I will look at it!  I am currently looking to replace this Unit anyway!  I'd go with the Standard House Model (110v Only) but the RV'er in me wants a 3 way, still!  LOL

Ditto to craneman. The rvr in me wanted the propane/110v refer too.  Just go for the residential, no defrost, well insulated, high efficiency, new counter depth refrigerators.  Tom, glad you found the leak.  I've also forgotten past events, like bumping the 12v on/off switch by the door with my foot, to the off position..

I'll add more solar and battery if I have to.  We love our Samsung.  No going back for me.  You already know your backup gen will get you out of most situations you might find your self in. To be thoughtful, I do use the Venturri to carry up the exhaust

When I worked for Guaranty RV doing shows we often dry camped for 10 days. We still dry camp alot, now no more shows,  I'll use my gen a little if I have to.

To stop water from going to the icemaker simply turn off the filter under the sink or plug the line there.

No luckily I was not in it , I parked it up the road in a layby near my girlfriend's place at the time , and walked down to her place which was about a 5 minute walk away , and their was a knock on the door early hrs of the morning , was quite shocked cause it was the local fire chief who I knew because my girlfriend's mate was married to him and only the day before he and his wife were sat in it with us having a few drinks and I was showing him around , and he was admiring how nice it was , so when he was called out to the fire  which totally destroyed it ,only the frame was left , he knew where to find me , I had only just sent off the registration documents , so it was just sheer coincidence , the fire insurance investigators couldn't tell me what caused it , but having heard about the dometic fridges having fire issues  , I just presumed that's what it was , I'm pretty sure it wasn't arson cause I have no enemy's , and nobody else knew it was mine , that was about 8 years ago , anyway the insurance paid up in full £25.000 and for a while I didn't bother looking for another one , and then one day the man that I had bought it from rang me up and told me about this foretravel grandvilla that was for sale for £16,000 and I went and saw it and loved it , in my opinion it was alot better  than the Fleetwood and cheaper , so everything turned out ok in the end , I lived in it for a while took it down to gibraltar and southern Spain , and also I liked the fact it was a diesel pusher cause the Fleetwood was front engine ran on petrol and LPG , so even though I was gutted about the Fleetwood at the time , everything turned out for the best and I was £9,000 better off
