Leave Center Bay Door Open Below Freezing

I've already decided not to do this, but it got me to thinking.  DW is placing Christmas lights on few small evergreens we can see from our passenger side. Closest electrical outlet I have is in the passenger side center bay. The adjoining wet bays are heated and I have a 200w heater in with the water pump.
Would it be safe to leave this bay open slightly with temps hovering just below freezing? Are there any critical components in this bay? Obviously my stored items would be exposed low temps.

Left our 86 GV out overnight in our neighborhood cul-de-sac... freezing temps with about 1/3 rd of fresh water in the tank.  Is there a safe way to warm the space under the twin bed. ( tanks and pump located here ) to remove the remaining now frozen water .. temps today are 37.. tomorrow up to 41 but interior temps away from sunshine are less ..

Ed,  you should be able to run the electric cord out and close the bay door on the cord.  Should not be a problem or at least try that.  I would think the rubber seal around the bay door should give you enough leeway for the electric cord to pass without cutting it.

Unless you are using a REALLY heavy extension cord, you should be able to run the cord out and close the bay door. Another possibility would be to drop the cord down next to your regular coach power cord. For that matter, it might be easier to get a longer, heavier extension cord and plug into the 20A outlet on the pedestal.

If you are in a campground and plugged in to post, run an extension cord from the 120v outlet on the post to your decorative lights.

run your ex cord out the bay at one of the 2 ends / corner use your leg to gently push until you hear it latch then lite her up.
