1995 FT U320c SE

Just purchased mine from MOT and wondering what the Special Edition on a 95 U320 is and how many Foretravel's were made that year!

Also this was Phil Bracketts coach which seems to have been well taken care of

The SE designation usually indicated some small differences in mechanical specs and interior decor and/or layout. I don't know what would be different (inside) on your coach. On our '93 U280 SE the only notable difference was the addition of a hutch and china cabinet with leaded glass inserts in the doors. Link below to the mechanical specs on your coach:

Welcome! My 1995 GV280 is also a SE. I don't know what is special about the SE model.

Hans, Yes I do have a screen door. I was told by someone that the SE model has the leather interior and different outside stripe decals. I don't know if this correct or if there are other differences.

Our 1993 U300 has the SE floor plan shown on Barry Beam's site, but doesn't have any markings to indicate that it is an SE.

We have a 1995 40' U320SE. My understanding is that every 1995 U320 is an "SE" model.

I have a 95 U320 SE also, I don't think it means anything, just sounds good.
Mine reads U320 - C- SE, there must be greatness there somewhere.

My 98 U320 is an SE. The SE in our model year replaces the wood in the galley for ceramic tile. It also has a very dark tint on all side glass and a decal on the outside bottom that resembles sponge on paint. Ours is dark blue with off white spots.

Great to have your company on this Forum, Nigel.

Our coach seems to be very much a "litter mate" to yours, in that SEs that year had paneling from floor to cabinets (last year?), which had the cool Tambor doors (last year also, I believe) and a simple M-11 Cummins. The pantograph bay doors were a first production on our year, I think. These coaches were loaded with cool stuff for the day—my u320 C SE has four phone jacks! I love these beasts. First year for a Bus Face, too, right?

The "How Many" number that year was high. I better go back to the Forum Facts and Barry Beam's info to get real info. Glad you joined this gang. Floor it! Paul

Welcome to the best forum anywhere. I also have a U320SE . I believe it's the first unicoach sold. Its one of a few with Prime heat. Good luck with your coach.

It is in great condition and I am pleased given I had a new Holiday Rambler 40 with 4 slides before this one!

Always surprises me the room in the non slides.. Coming from a 4 slide to non? not feeling cramped? that says a lot!!

Nigel; I believe your coach had the L dinette that was fixed on the floor near the J part of the couch. Wonder why they removed that feature? Always liked that design over the booth dinette and the separate table and two chairs.

Yes. welcome to join around the electronic campfire.

As far as up to the bath door our 97 is the same floor plan.

You have a j lounge where the 97 we have has a cabinet at the end of the couch.

I appreciate your comment about the comparison to a 4 slide coach. The WTBI floor plan works well.

Extremely usable medium sized high quality coach. Like a boat.
