Curious what these switches are for under the dash...

So I am trying to familiarize myself with my U270 and discovery of these two switches has got me curious...any ideas ?

Here is a lead to some fine reading on those switches.
Three switches under dash cover?

A short version, one is for brake codes and the other raises/lowers engine RPM (not through the cruse control).
