GV storage bay latch mechanism tightening.
Tightened a very loose storage bay latch by epoxying ( JB weld) a shim on the under side of the latch. I made the shim by cutting a 1/4 in. flat washer (3/4 in dia) in half. This particular latch required 2 halves to get the right amount of adjustment. This is just one of those frustrating things That you might think you just have to live with since they were not made to be adjusted. Thought I would share this for any other frustrated person with this problem. Have a great day ---- Fritz
