Brake lights stuck on

Just parked and find my brake lights are all on. What gives?

This is  2003 U295. I believe the cruise control is still working, or was recently, so it doesn't think the brakes are applied. So the brake applied switch, wherever that is, is apparently not activated.

I looked at the relays in the front kick panel and see no relay having anything to do with brakes.

I looked at the schematic and there is an unlabeled relay, no idea what it does or where it is.

Retarder stick is off, retarder switch is off, engine is off.

I think retarder and cruise are working fine.

Are you unhooked from your towed? I have had mine back feed to the brakes.

Tom,

Check your brake light pressure switch.  They have been known to fail causing the brake lights to be on. Depending on the coach will depend on the exact location of the brake light switch. This is what changes the air pressure to an electronic signal.

Problem solved. Mea cupla.

Last week I had my mechanic add a wire from the coach battery through unused pins and an added wire on the toad harness to the toad battery.

Looks like he connected it to the brake wire.

Disconnected and all is well

Thanks.
