Thetford sewer hose

I am having a problem with this.. I have the white elbow that came with the coach and cap to close the sewer... I need to replace the hose and the other end. I bought the adapter from thetford to valterra.. cant fir the fitting on after that as they hit the divider in the wet bay.. so I am looking for the scissors that expand the hose so I can make any hose work..

Anyone have an idea where to get the spreader?

Thanks

I cut the end off my sewer pipe yesterday and installed a dump valve that glued on to the pipe and has the correct connector for all the standard waste pipes, total cost about $23 and took 30 minutes
Now I can shut my compartment door if the hose is still connected

David, I bought the green spreader (Valterra) from Camping World in New Brunsfel, TX several years ago for $7.95 but couldn't find it anywhere since, until I finally found mine hiding behind the gray water dump valve.
It works great--IF, and I do mean IF--you put the hose end in boiling water and then use the spreader. (Work fast) Don't heat the hose up and you will have a real struggle getting it over the fitting.+
The price is well worth the savings in frustration. :))

It pushes the adapters to far so I cant close the trap door with the hose.
