First real trip

Just finished our first "real" trip in our coach. Did a little over 1700 miles (yeah I know that many here will say only 1700 ) in 6 days (4 driving days). The coach ran great most of the time. The only trouble was in the driving through virtual walls of water. Suffered a loss of power for a few minutes on the side of I44 in Oklahoma. Once it cleared itself, no problems. Seems like I remember some members who made a deflector shield for the air intake several years ago. I didn't think much about it then, but I will search the archives, it makes sense now.

Larry,

Open and check your AIR FILTER.  If water got in, it is shot.  Replace or get a dusted engine!

Brett, absolutely my next move. Didn't have the tools to loosen the bolts holding it in with me.

Bruce, I was thinking it was John's invention & Chuck thanks for finding the link for me. That work thing is still in my way 12 hrs a day.
