I have had "crosstalk" engine wires issues if bundled up tightly.

In long  parallel runs the signal(volts?) can cross over through the thin wire coverings.

We thought we knew better and tightly bundled our dirt bike wires against the frame and doubled them back and forth to fix the factories slightly loose wiring under the fuel tank.

Bikes would not start.  Unbundled the wires and spread them out.  Started right up.

Bob, that quote brings up another issue the tech cleaned up. To the ecu there is a 3wire shield cable that was a mess and not hooked up to the wires he exposed, so he did it to the 3 bundles of wire  he was working on as he said it will allow "talking" between them and give cross codes to the data connections if this issue was not fixed right. We are now home after driving about 600 miles today and again not one code came up. Never have I had this as there was all ways one or two. My job now is to get that Banks computer checked and find a new 12volt ign on power source to hopefully get it working again because climbing hills and fuel consumption has not been great without it .

Took a new 12 volt feed from remote start and plugged the Banks back inline and cranked it up. All runs good but will need a road test to make sure..  Glad all the wiring is in good condition now.
Hope this issue is getting close to the end.

When I needed some 12 volt power at the rear of the coach (for some add-on lights) I couldn't find a handy source, so I made my own.  I saw that the hollow open-ended frame members alongside the engine made a nice "conduit" from right above my start battery to the rear end of the coach.  Found some heavy duty red primary wire (10 or 8 gauge?) in my stash, slid it inside some heavy clear vinyl tubing (for abrasion protection), and ran this through the frame.  At the battery end, attached a inline blade fuse holder (30 amp) and ring connector.  At the rear of the coach hooked wire to a single post terminal block from auto parts store.

Now I have a good clean source of 12V available, for whatever, without worrying about "what else is being powered by this circuit?"

Really depends on whether you need a "constant hot" or "ignition on hot".
