Slide Sweepers

Does anyone know the best way to replace the sweepers above the slides? Should I try to slide it down from the end like you do when you replace the awnings or should I put it up there and force it into the channel? I am afraid of damaging it if I don't do the correct way.

I think this can be accomplished in 2 ways..

!
1) slid it in from the end.. use soap its fast and easy (did mine this way)

2) let it sit in the sun to heat up.. stretch it as you push the rounded part in the track.. * havnt tried this one but should work if stretched long enough)

Just pull old one out. On new one push rounded part into track a couple of inches at a time. I used a dull putty knife A little silicon spray in track makes it easier.
