KVH TracVision A7 M10

Hi,

My 2007 Nimbus has an A7 TracVision in-motion satellite with the KVH M10 receiver - according to KVH this system is obsolete and they told me I need to upgrade to the A7. However, when I turn on my current unit, I still get channels and can watch satellite TV.

Does anybody else have the same system and can share some thoughts - if it is obsolete, why does it still work?

Pat

KVH M10 is a Directv receiver

I have a Trac Star In-motion with Directv. Not HD, it works in most area's, but not in California

Does NOT switch satellites for networks.

Trac Star has been out of business for years.

NO in-motion Directv system will get HD

I have a Winegard Traveler HD for when I park to receive HD

Any of the flat dish's, didn't do well with signal requisition.

I would imagine yours gets some SD channels, but not all.

Would be surprised if it switches sat's for networks, so that is why they are calling for an upgrade.

Been installing RV satellites since they began around 35 years ago
